

KEEP FIT IN THE WATER WITH SWIMFIT
Swimfit is a gym style programme for the pool designed to get the absolute best out of your performance. It offers the motivation and exercise you can expect in the gym with the lower impact of the pool environment.
Whether you are just swimming socially or swimming to compete, you'll want to swim the very best you can. Every area of your swimming will benefit from a tailored Swimfit programme.
- Sessions are not lessons, or fitness classes.
- As in a gym session, your instructor will set you a programme to your individual needs which will be reviewed on a regular basis.
- Your programme can be used in any swim session however instructors are only available in specific Swimfit sessions.
- The instructed sessions will cost slightly more than a normal swim session. However these sessions are free to all KAL fitness members.
Swimfit fulfils a number of categories –
- health (for those who want to improve their health generally)
- fitness (for people to get fitter)
- shape and tone (to improve the way you look through regular swimming)
- competitive.
There is at least one session per week held at each pool but you can do Swimfit in your own time using the structured training cards that are on the poolside at all KAL centres. To find out more contact your local KAL Pool.
