Site Manager

Jonathan Debenham has worked for more than 12 years within the Leisure Industry, beginning with Kirklees Council (Leisure Services) from 1997 then Kirklees Active Leisure in 2002.

He has worked at most sites and now manages Spenborough Pool and Fitness Complex.

History

Spenborough's pool opened in 1969 and enjoyed a major refurbishment in 2003 (plant, changing rooms, and café area)

More Fitness Gym opened Nov 1997  - a Dance Studio was added in 2004 and the fitness suite was updated with a dedicated spin area and brand new Technogym equipment in December 2009.

•  1964 Athletics track was laid
•  1965 Athletics track opened
•  1973/4 Re-laid with an all weather surface
•  2000 Re-surfaced
•  1998 Pavilion replaced
