Natalie Bates – Operations Manager
I am the new Operations Manager for Scissett Baths. I began my career with KAL in 2002 as a gymnastics instructor at Dewsbury Sports Centre. I soon became a leisure attendant there and worked in various parts of the centre including fitness classes.
I was appointed to Duty Manager at Batley Baths in 2006, then moved to Huddersfield Sports Centre. I was promoted to Operations Manager in May 2010 and am enjoying the challenge.
My hobbies include teaching aerobics and holidaying in the sunshine.
History
Scissett Baths was opened in May 1928 by Miner's Welfare and has been at the heart of the Scissett and Clayton West communities ever since. Having gone through many changes over the years, the centre now houses a 23m x 9m (approx) Main Pool above which is a large viewing area, a Lounge Area for customer to sit and relax in and a 25-station Fitness Suite.

We're holding some special events for Children In Need this year (Friday 18th November) - a 12-hour Row-A-Thon and Charity Aqua-Fit.
