Stadium wore their spots with pride

On Friday 18th November KAL centres had lots of fun raising money for Children in Need.

The Stadium & Fitness complex and Head Office combined together and provided a Pudsey packed day!

Dressed to impress wearing their spots with pride, everyone at the stadium dressed in their spottiest clothes possible, and if you were lacking spots a forfeit donation was heading your way.

Watching members and staff participate in a twelve hour constant twizzling twister game entertained lots which ran 8 am until 8pm. Whilst some interesting shapes were being thrown on the twister mat, an ongoing bake sale at reception attracted the members to a cake and a coffee.

Head office as part of the fundle enjoyed a spotty lunch time buffet where selections of hot and cold foods were donated by staff. Charing a donation of £2.50 if you were wearing your spots if not the forfeit of £4.00 was the deal, I think many would agree it was a bargain lunchtime menu.

During the evening the night was fitness filled with fund raising fitness classes including Pudsey pump and Pudsey body combo which got most of our customers sweating out of their spots! The instructors, Harriet Swift and Jenny Joof certainly put us through our paces!

Not to mention our Pudsey game ‘a pound a pop’ which attracted a lot of attention, the aim was to pick a balloon, pop it and see if you won a prize. Prizes included personal training sessions, a month’s membership and other goodies.

Jo Hartley organiser of the event said: “The day was a great success, all staff had fun dressing up and playing twister and we were even treated to a five star lunch buffet. The cakes which staff and members made were so tasty and were all sold in no time!”

A grand total of £308.64 was raised by Head office and the stadium, so well done to everyone who got their spots on and helped raise money.
