Children In Need at Scissett Baths & Fitness Centre

Charity Aqua-Fit and the Row-A-Thon Are Back!

We're going all-out this year at Scisset Baths & Fitness Centre to raise money for Children in Need by setting some of our toughest challenges yet!

12-hour Row-A-Thon - 8-til-8

For Comic Relief we rowed over 115km to travel from the centre to Brilington - this time around we've got an even bigger task.

In 12 hours we've got to try and reach Carlisle - 158km away! We're asking everyone to help out and donate either their time and do a stint on the rower to give us a little rest, or money or both!

Charity Aqua-Fit

Not only is this a Children in Need event, it's also a big day for one of Scissett's favourite team members - this will be Maureen's final Aqua-Fit before she retires. She's worked at the centre for over 30 years and has decided to go out with a bang! Anything could happen in the pool between 14:15-15:00!

The cost of the class will be free - instead, we're asking for donations that will all go towards our total.
