12,500 sign up for KAL card
More than 12,500 customers have signed up for the KAL card - which gives customers a range of benefits and discounts.
Since it was launched for use in April, the card has been extremely popular.
It gives access to reduced prices for most activities, priority booking for classes and courts, free sessions, exclusive offers, newsletters and other information such as new timetables and forthcoming classes. The combined total savings by customers in its first two months has amounted to a massive £20,000.
If you use any of our sports centres and you are aged three or over, then a KAL card will benefit you. Sign up at any KAL centre reception. The card costs just £2 for the year per person.
Joe Baker, KAL's Business Improvement Manager said: "The KAL card is obviously already proving popular with our regular customers, which is smashing."
"To encourage even more people to sign up, we are offering a FREE year's membership to the 15,000th person to sign up and are also offering the chance to win 1 of 10 FREE month memberships if you sign up to the KAL card before July 15th, so spread the word!
"The KAL card will help better inform our centres' programming of activities as we continue to try to get more people more active in the local area."

- Eventually customers will be able to use the Card to fast-track into the centres and avoid queuing.
What are the booking advantages of having a KAL Card?
Customers with a KAL Card will be able to book courts and classes etc seven days ahead of the activity, whereas those without a KAL Card can only make bookings five days ahead.
