What is ‘more’ plus corporate membership? 
‘More’ plus membership is an all inclusive membership to all our 11 centres. These are Batley Baths & Recreation, Batley Sports & Tennis, Colne Valley Leisure Centre, Deighton Sports Arena, Dewsbury Sports Centre, Holmfirth Pool, Huddersfield Sports Centre, Scissett Baths, Stadium Health & Fitness Complex, Spenborough Pool & Sports Complex and Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre.
What does membership include?
Memberships include the use of the fitness suites, including a personalised induction, personal programmes and training reviews. Also included in your membership are all fitness classes and use of the swimming pools (times may vary at various sites).
Types of membership?
Corporate membership offers the use of the above facilities with no time restrictions.

What is ‘more’ corporate membership?
This is an all inclusive membership to our 9 core centres (as detailed above) but excludes the use of our premium centres which are The Stadium Health & Fitness Complex and Dewsbury Sports Centre.

Is there a Starter/Joining Fee?
Yes. There is a starter fee of £9.95 to pay at the time of signing up. This includes an induction into a Fitness Suite and personal programme and regular reviews. A Wellness Key can be purchased for £10.55 (Required at Dewsbury Sports Centre, Huddersfield Sports Centre & the Stadium Health & Fitness Complex)
How do I pay?
Either monthly by Direct Debit or annually, a one off payment each year using a payment method of your choice. Annual memberships are charged at 11 x the 12 monthly rates.
Is there a tie in period?
Yes. It is a requirement of membership that you join for a minimum length of time, 12 months, although we hope that you stay with us for longer.
What happens if I cancel my direct debit membership mid-contract?
Kirklees Active Leisure will pursue outstanding payments.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months in any 12 month period. There is no additional fee for this facility.
Can I join on a monthly basis without a contract?
No, not on the Corporate membership scheme.
How do I join?
Please contact a centre reception to join the membership scheme. Bank Account details, including account name, number, sort code and full postal address are required to set up monthly direct debit. These details can be found on your monthly bank statement. You will also need some work I.D. such as a recent pay slip.
