RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Want to learn new skills and gain a qualification at the same time? Can you swim 100 metres on your front and 100 metres on your back and climb out unaided? Can you swim 50 metres in under 1 minute? Can you dive to the bottom of the pool? If the answer to all these questions is yes, then this could be the course for you!

Saturday (1st & 2nd week) - 10.30 am - 8.30 pm

Sunday (3rd week) - 10.00 am - end of exam
Course Fee includes tutition fees, assessment fees, comprehensive course material, personal lifeguard folder (including unit 1 & unit 2) and your affliation to the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards (IQL)
Unit 1 - The foundation module provides training and assessment in the knowledge of the general aspects of pool operation, supervision, accident prevention and rescue.
Unit 2 - Puts skills learned and knowledge acquired into an applied working environment, covering topics such as lifeguard and the law, Normal Operating Proceedures, Emergency Action Plan and the provision and use of play equipment.
Together units 1 & 2 form the complete lifeguard qualification. The RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is valid for 2 years.
Required Clothing -
Dress comfortably - extra swimwear/towels will be required as there may be more than one wet session per day.
