Hazel Francis - General Manager
I began my career with Kirklees Active Leisure in November 1995 (then Kirklees MC) as leisure attendant at Huddersfield Sports Centre. Throughout my years of employment, I progressed to Acting Duty Manager at Huddersfield Sports Centre, Scissett Baths and Holmfirth Pool.
In 2003 I became manager of three dual-use school facilities that Kirklees Active Leisure were asked to manage on behalf of Kirklees Council which were Royds Hall SC, Almondbury SC and Holmfirth SC.
I became Operations Manager at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre in November 2004 and moved to Batley Sports and Tennis Centre as Operations Manager in October 2007. I was promoted to the position of General Manager at Huddersfield Sports Centre in May 2009.
Adam McNeely - Operations Manager
I've been working in leisure management for the last 12 years in a number of different roles.
I started by managing a corporate fitness centre before moving around the country running small private health clubs for a multi-national hotel chain. After a two-year stint as a food and beverage manager, I've returned to the sportier side of leisure.
I joined Kirklees Active Leisure in January 2010 and I enjoy the variety and challenge that the wide range of activities we offer at the sports centre brings.
When I'm not at work I enjoy playing golf, keeping fit and catching up with my friends and family.

Huddersfield Sports Centre is on the town centre ring road close to Sainsbury's Shorehead, click here for directions. Also five minutes walk from bus and train stations, click Metro for travel information. There is parking available on a pay and display basis at the front of the centre and alternative parking available on Pine Street to the side of the centre.
