KAL Kickers

KAL Kickers is a year round football award scheme aimed at boys & girls aged 5-12 years. Run over a 10 week rolling programme participants aim to complete 8 Levels of football skills (Levels 1-5, Bronze, Silver & Gold) by learning and mastering a number of key skills including * Dribbling * Turning * Shooting * Running with the ball * Heading * Passing * Tricks & Freestyle

Children can record their progress with their very own KAL Kickers Achievement Chart and each level they successfully pass they will get a Certificate and Medal package to show their achievement.

Each 10 week session costs £35.00 and when you sign up you will receive a FREE KAL card and a FREE Huddersfield Town FC Team Terriers 1 Membership. Please note there is a small charge of £5.00 for the Achievement Wall Chart and £2.60 for the Certificate and Medal package.

Holiday Camps Available during School Holidays

Mini (5-6 Years) A world of football fun at your feet, fun games, skill building activities and small sided games for younger players that will capture and enlighten the imagination!

Junior Camp (7-12 Years)

Non stop action, fun individual skill development with challenging activities/skills. Small sided games in an exciting and friendly atmosphere!

Strike. Camp (7-12 Years)

Score goals galore in a fun environment, work on individual technique and timing. 1v1, penalty shoot outs, crossing and finishing and many more goal scoring opportunities!

Goalkeeper Camp (7-12 Years)

Make fantastic saves whilst having fun, handling, kicking, throwing and challenging goalkeeping activities.

A great chance to dive into the action!

Astro Pitches Available Now

KAL manages two 3^rd generation astro turf pitches in North Kirklees

• Batley Football Centres 3^rd generation pitch was officially opened in January 2005. The floodlit pitch was made possible by a Football Foundation grant of more than £1/2 million.

• The full size pitch, which can be split into two 7-a-side pitches is surrounded by fencing and has modern changing facilities and disabled access. The surface itself is ideal for modern day training and practice.

• St John Fisher High School’s 3rd generation pitch was officially opened on 14^th June 2008.

• The floodlit facility was made possible by a Football Foundation grant of more than £1/2 million.

• The full size pitch which can be split into three 7-a-side pitches is surrounded by fencing and has changing facilities and disabled access. The surface is ideal for modern day training and practice.

Football News

F.A. Conference Youth Alliance Cup

On Wednesday 18th January 2012 Batley Sports & Tennis Centre hosted the F.A. Conference Youth Alliance Cup fixture between FC Halifax Town v Corby Town. After an entertaining game the final result of this Under 19's clash was FC Halifax Town 1 - 3 Corby Town.
