Party Time
Want your children have a party to remember? Something a bit different that won't cost the earth?
Kirklees Active Leisure’s facilities are available to hire for children’s parties. Across our centres we offer a wide range of party options, please contact your local site for details of parties offered.
Here are a few examples of our parties:
Swim parties
Our pools offer a wide range of party options. These include:
- Supersoakers - with free use of the new super soakers, these giant water pistols bring guaranteed fun and laughter. Including free use of the floats and play equipment.
- Sea Scooters - learn how to use the sea scooters, play games with the sea scooters that are run by our lifeguards. ideally for parties between 10 - 16 children, all participants must be over the age of 8 and be able to swim confidently (50 metres)
- Slide Party - with use of the inflatable and play equipment. (including Supersoakers if you wish)
- Mini Olympics - Organised session of fun games and activities
- 30 minute games session run by the lifeguards.
- 15 minutes use of the floats and play equipment.
- Polar Bear Party - 45 mins of pool time, small inflatable polar bear in the shallow end, floats and balls also in the pool for children to play with. Maximum numbers 30, for under 8s and/or non-swimmers
Football Parties
Our Sports Halls are ideal settings for football parties. A coach or referee can be included if you need one!
Other Parties
- Wii Parties - A fun and energetic party using a Nintendo Wii. A member of staff is included to ensure the party runs smoothly.
- Climbing Parties – Climbing parties are for 1 hour with 2 expert instructors. For over 8s only. The maximum for this type of party is 12. (Huddersfield Sports Centre only).
- Inflatable parties – These parties offer the use of our huge inflatables.
- Shokk Parties - An hour in our specially designed Shokk Activity Areas. Includes use of the Interactive equipment , including Dance Mats, target wall, Wushu, Motrivatrix.
- Tiny Tots Parties - A party for children aged 0 – 5 years within the Little Dolphins Play Gym. There is a minimum of 6 children for this party, maximum is 12. (Huddersfield Sports Centre Only).
