“Kirklees Active Leisure has been working in partnership with The West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust for almost a year. The management team and individual sports centres have been incredibly supportive allowing us to display promotional banners, holding fundraising events in many of their sites, helping us raise funds and awareness in equal measure.

“The events KAL has organised have given us increased exposure in the local press and raised a substantial amount of money also. They have donated gym memberships for an auction prize at our flagship event, the Glitz and Glamour Ball.

“As a charity partner we have supported some of their marketing campaigns through our website and newsletter and we can honestly say that KAL are one of the most supportive partners we currently have.

“They acknowledge that there are lots of different ways to support us and their support has helped us get our logo and charity name recognised by the masses which is invaluable. Their staff are really enthusiastic and have some great ideas. We look forward to working with them into the future.”
